About Us
For some time now, Zoë has dreamed of opening a Bistro style restaurant in her local town of Rhayader which nestles in the Wye valley surrounded by the Cambrian Mountains in beautiful Mid Wales, where customers can enjoy good home cooking with a touch of style and panache.
However…. she went one step better by bringing the restaurant to the customer, and Wye Cook was born…. a service where customers can enjoy delicious home cooking in the form of frozen, ready meals, delivered to their door. They can then heat them up when they want, eat them up and enjoy, with a glass of wine.
Zoë is passionate about good food, cooking and providing a good service. She says:
"Here in Rhayader I have to hand a wealth of naturally reared livestock coming from local, conscientious producers. My aim is to provide Welsh and world-inspired home cooked meals made from fresh healthy ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible, even from my own herb and vegetable garden. I intend to support our quality Welsh food & drink producers, introducing their products into my dishes giving customers a unique taste of Wales."
