We realise that many of you, on some occasions, for whatever reason may not feel like cooking, but you still want a nourishing, appetising dish that tastes and looks home made. So 'Wye Cook' when we can do it for you and deliver to your door.
Our delicious home-cooked ready meals are immediately frozen so that they can be delivered to your door as fresh as the day they were prepared. This means that your "Wye Cook" meal will have no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives. Essentially, our meals will use the same ingredients as you would use in your own kitchen at home.
Pop your meal in the oven, sit back and relax, your "Wye Cook" meal will soon be ready to eat.
We offer a tasty range of Welsh and world inspired dishes from starters to sweets, which have been prepared using fresh ingredients from local suppliers in Wales.
With your suggestions, feedback and ideas I will be introducing new dishes to our seasonally updated menus. So share our passion for food! Enjoy the results.
Our mutton is supplied by Tony and Angela Davies of Elan Valley Mutton who are proud to be award-winning mutton producers. Mutton has, for some time been seen as a poor cousin to lamb. On the contrary, we think it has better texture and taste and when cooked properly, it makes a very tasty dish. Try our ‘Elan Valley Mutton Pie’ and ‘Shepherd’s Pie’ then make up your own mind and let us know through our ‘contact page’.
Our Welsh Black beef comes from Trevor Edwards. This special beef is naturally reared on the uplands of the area surrounding the Elan Valley reservoirs. Try our 'Welsh Black Beef Bourguignon' and 'Lasagne al Forno'
The fishmonger comes to Rhayader on Thursdays with his fine selection of fresh fish caught off the West Wales Coast. Zoë personally selects what she needs and the 'Scrumptious Fish Pie' is prepared that day.
